With me being away from Gears 5 for a year, I've apparently missed a huge hayday of when Veteran was disgustingly OP. From that though, I'm learning a lot from you all on different strategies to try on Veteran. It's kind of like a, "Hey, will this weapon be insane with Living Legend?" Traditionally, I had been running a Longshot + Lancer. Sometimes, I'd switch the Lancer up for Retro, especially when execution rules were in effect. In this match, someone suggested to use the Lancer GL and Retro, and I was really happy with how it turned out. Given, still kept a Longshot around because I feel at home getting headshots for faster ult recharge, but the GL was still SOLID. On this note, I could use more recommendations on Vet builds and what YOU run! And with this video is the last match we got from before Nexus Siege! After this we've got the matches from the Saturday and Tuesday following Operation 6 Drop 2, and then onto whatever's next!
