Seeing Common Ringed Plover is quite easy through much of its global range but to appreciate them in detail and learn about their lives we need to get a closer look. In this birding video I introduce you to Common Ringed Plover, a beach-loving shorebird, at one of my favourite locations in England; Shellness beach. Ringed Plover lives its life by the rythym of the tides, feeding on exposed mudflats at low tide and roosting on shingle beaches at high tide.
