If your USB hub is not able to recognize any device (external hard disk, pen drive, camera, etc.) that you connect, then watch this video! In my video "FIX USB transfer speed slow Windows 10 -    • FIX USB transfer speed slow Windows 10   ", in one of the solutions, I've changed the Policies from "Quick removal" to "Better Performance" for an external hard drive that was connected to a USB hub. This then caused my USB hub not to be able to recognize anything (another external hard disk, camera, etc.). Sorry for repeating the same thing again and again. It is because it's really important to understand the actual problem in here. That is the USB hub only works for the original external hard disk and none of its other USBs working! It's important to eject "your" hard disk that's connected to the USB hub. In my case it's the G drive called "Photos Videos" and your case it could be any other drive and name! External hard disk that is connected to the USB hub works. Remove the USB hub cable and "not" the "original external hard disk"! To be on the safe side, wait for 10 seconds prior to connected it back! Problem is fixed! Now whatever (external hard disk, pen drive, camera, etc.) I connect to this USB hub works again! When a USB port, USB hub, USB device, external hard disk, mouse, keyboard, etc. is not working properly, there could be lots of different reasons!
