Aldo's Adventure is a MS-DOS game produced by Dave and Ben Ibach in 1987. This is the first episode in a 3 part series. A rather random platformer where your goal is to get to the treasure chest before your time runs out. Dodging barrels and collecting items on the way, pick ups are jewels and money bags, these give you more time. Definitely challenging and riddled with bugs, there are times where you fall through platforms for no apparent reason. Another game where you cannot save your progress so you have to start all over again anytime you lose all lives. Highly nostalgic with a somewhat un-canny resemblance to Mario, I did enjoy the challenge. In this video, I somehow manage to clock the game by passing all 10 levels. A very exciting reward at the end where you just restart from level 1 but with even less time!
