Marc read the Newsday Article by Erica Marcus, so immediately, we headed out to Molto just north of the railroad tracks in Babylon. Walking in, there was a graffiti reminiscent of parts of Brooklyn. We sat in front a set of stairs that was designed to simulate Brownstone steps with the back wall housing the Brick Oven that heats with a combination of coal for the heat and wood for the flavor. Molto Vino's Restauranteur, Massimiliano Gargiulo opened the Pizzeria a few blocks north. Gargiulo is from Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, and therefore the Brownstone Stairs and graffiti mural made sense. Also, according to Joshua Rivera, manager, the oven took 2 years to build. So glad that they can be around as many restaurants have shut down.
