Sadly his followers claim to follow ISLAM when in reality their belief takes them out of the fold of Islam since the Quran states NO NEW prophet will come after Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم as well as the numerous authentic Prophetic traditions. It is the fundamental belief of the ~2 billion Muslim population worldwide, that there is NO Prophet after Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم. Islam has set out rules and regulations in order that one may abide by and acquire proximity to Allah Almighty. Islam strictly prohibits abusing any person let alone a prophet, lying is also against the teachings of Islam. The founder of the (so called) Ahmadiyya Movement otherwise known and documented as "Qadiani" or "Mirzai" was called Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, born in Qadian, a village in Punjab, India, in 1839 or 1840, died in Lahore 1908 and buried in Qadian. He initially claimed to be a reformer, Mahdi, then in 1891 he claimed to be Jesus, son of Mary and in 1901 he claimed to be a prophet of God. Finally he claimed to be God himself (Kitab al Bariyya, pg 85, Roohani Khazain, Vol 13, pg 103,).
