National Sextortion Racket BUSTED by Mumbai Police; 3 accused held for extortion & blackmailing

The Mumbai Police have busted a National Sextortion Racket. Mumbai Police crime branch has arrested three people from Rajasthan, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh in the case. People were lured by these fake social media accounts. The sextortion racket, mainly, targeted high-profile bureaucrats and journalists. According to reports, the cyber cell has blocked over 170 Facebook accounts and the racket as spread into separate verticals.  A designated team was deployed for each vertical. The accused allegedly completed a cyber crash course.
