The second video in my shorter series Moments in Metal. Rather than bore everyone with the same type of content on the same panel each week showing basically the same thing, I will try and mix it up a little with some other aspects of my metal life. This episode covers the before and after aspects and does NOT show how the plating itself is done - rather the process of what needs to be done before its sent away. Tumble zinc plating is the ONLY way to successfully bright zinc plate small parts. You dont want to have to pay someone to hang thousands of fasteners and get back duller parts (compared with tumble barrel plating) that often can leave a wire burn mark.
