He will give you direction in all things He will protect you against evil you will be able to avoid the pitfalls of Satan the Holy Spirit you give you inspiration and discernment that you may recognize evil You may still recognize those things which would cause you despair or discomfort or sorrow for wrongdoing Thus through faith in the promises of the Lord knowing that as you are willing to give of yourself to the best of your ability to His great work, the Lord in turn will be mindful of you and will bless you with every good and needful gift. you may witness much trial and tribulation and chaotic conditions in the earth, fear not, take joy and courage in the knowledge that these things are but a preparation for a great and bright and wonderful future. cling fast to the iron rod and hold fast to those things which are good. Do not give in to discouragement for this is the tool of Satan go forth even in the face of opposition with faith in the Lord. (From My Patriarchal Blessing)
