His father, a humble vegetable vendor, was devastated when he couldn't afford the needed surgery. Dr V Sripathi, Sr. Consultant, Paediatric Urologist & Robotic Surgeon, Apollo Children's Hospitals, Chennai stepped in to cover the surgery costs himself. Under his expert care, along with a dedicated team of doctors, the young boy underwent two complex surgeries, totaling over 8 hours.
