We are back shore fishing at Eastbourne this week. Plaice, dabs, Whiting, and Flounder are all the targets. Fishing from the shingle on a flat calm day with the sun shining was just what we needed. Using a mixture of small rigs and small baits I try to catch some plaice. To catch plaice you ideally want clear seas, clear skies and light winds. Baits used were lugworm and razor clam.
