A walk through Kenfig Nature Reserve near Porthcawl. This time it’s a 6-mile circular walk from Kenfig Pool to Kenfig Castle, across the dunes to the beach and back to Kenfig Pool. Park at Kenfig Nature Reserve which has free parking. Nearby Kenfig Pool is the second-largest freshwater lake in South Wales. The reserve is also an SSSI a Site of Special Scientific Interest as it is home to rare and endangered plants and animals.
