Today we will be driving in South Loop of downtown Chicago. Anchored by Roosevelt University Columbia College and Grant Park along with many residential and office components the area is as vibrant as other parts of downtown during non pandemic times. Served by CTA loop and Metra trains mobility is convenient for non auto visitors. Even though South Loop unofficially extends to Cermak Street to the south the portion from Roosevelt to Cermak overlaps as being Near South Side as well. In the north Ida B Wells Dr also formerly known as Congress Pkwy is the border for beginning of South Loop. Today we will cover the area between Ida B Wells Dr to Roosevelt Road and Wells to Michigan Avenue. It was filmed during the pandemic so the street activities might not depict the real picture of what might occur during normal times, Enjoy!!!!!
