For families raising children with complex disabilities and medical needs, the weight of daily life is immense. Appointments, therapies, advocacy, sleepless nights, and a system that was never quite built with them in mind. This is what RippleAbility set out to change with our Respite Centre. Over three four-week programs, RippleAbility brought together families of children with high and complex needs, creating a space where children were genuinely welcomed, parents could breathe, and families could find each other. This video is what that looked like in practice. You'll hear directly from the families who participated, in their own words. You'll see what it means for a child to be truly accommodated. And you'll understand why access to this kind of support isn't a luxury, it's a necessity. RippleAbility is a Western Australian paediatric navigation service committed to empowering, educating, and enabling families of children with high and complex disability and medical support needs. The Respite Pilot was delivered in partnership with Carers WA, Carer Gateway, Good Start Early Learning, Hannah's House, Enhancing Learning, Westminster Child and Parent Centre, and Westminster Education Support Centre. This pilot is the beginning of something. If you believe every family deserves this kind of support, please share this video. 🔗 Learn more: https://rippleability.org 📧 Get in touch: info@rippleability.org #RippleAbility #Respite #PaediatricDisability #ComplexNeeds #NDIS #FamilySupport #WesternAustralia #DisabilityAdvocacy #ParentCarers
