It's a visual novel with a strong focus on choice, adding up to something much more mechanically complex than the genre can normally achieve, all supported by enchanting art, music, and prose. cyberpunkdreams is a cyberpunk life sim, putting you in the role of a memory-wiped agent on a mission to infiltrate the slums of Cincinnatti. It's got edge up to here, but it's tempered by excellent writing and characters that feel uncommonly believable. Cabernet is a more casual experience, an adventure game that eschews so much of the mechanical baggage always present in vampire games to focus on the story, a warm, heartfelt, and dare I say cozy experience. Misericorde is a visual novel about medieval nuns caught in a deadly conspiracy, a monochrome meditation on faith, mistrust, and isolation, and it's also quite funny.
