Conference on Cultural Bridges between Pakistan and Germany held in Berlin
Institute for Cultural Diplomacy (ICD), Berlin organized a 3-day conference on "Multiculturalism, the 2012 Global Debate: Strengthening Intercultural Relations". One of the sessions of the conference was dedicated to the topic "Cultural Bridges between Pakistan and Germany in the context of Globalization and Multiculturalism". Pakistan's Ambassador to Germany, while addressing the participants of the conference stated that Pakistani Diaspora living in Germany provided organic link between Pakistan and Germany. He emphasized the need for better understanding of Islam and Muslim traditions on the part of western world for greater harmony in the multicultural societies that are emerging in the wake of globalization.
