This video was recorded at Monttu Music Studio in Kitee, the hometown of Nightwish. It is a school studio where young musicians can work on recording and music production. The studio is also known as the “studio under the school,” or Caverock. Of course, Nightwish did not record their albums here, but the band did work and rehearse in this place. There is a separate room in the studio with a board completely filled with the signatures of musicians and guests, and I was fortunate enough to leave my own signature there alongside the names of the members of Nightwish. The song “Music” by Nightwish belongs to the era of Floor Jansen. I hadn’t sung songs from this period before, so this cover became especially meaningful to me. For me, this composition represents inspiration, the power of memories, and that special feeling when sound turns into emotion.
