Lunch at 1957 Kopi — A Comforting Bowl Done Right 🍜 Had a satisfying lunch at 1957 Kopi, and it really hit the spot. The highlight for me was their lai fun noodles — beautifully done with a springy, smooth texture that made every bite enjoyable. Not too soft, not too firm, just right. You can tell they paid attention to the cooking. The bowl was generously paired with a nice selection of yong tau fu, including fish balls and eggplant. Everything tasted fresh and comforting, with that homely touch that makes you slow down and enjoy your meal. And of course, I must mention their iced kopi o — simply marvelous. Bold, aromatic, and refreshing, especially in our Malaysian weather. It completed the meal perfectly. Sometimes, it’s these simple, honest meals that bring the most satisfaction. Eat, Walk, Sleep… and repeat. 😄
