Today’s adventure started in the beautiful mountain village of Candelario, Spain, before Pepper and I set off on a 6 hour road trip across the country. Our first stop was Mérida, home to some of the most incredible Roman ruins in Spain. The plan was to visit the famous Roman Theatre… but unfortunately dogs aren’t allowed inside, so Pepper and I had to change plans! Instead we explored the Roman Aqueduct, which turned out to be amazing. Massive ancient stone arches with storks nesting right at the top made it one of the coolest stops of the trip. After that it was back on the road for another 3 hour drive down to Málaga province, powered by a couple of White Monster energy drinks, before finishing the day with a relaxing hike around our new base in Cuevas de San Marcos, Andalucía. Traveling Spain with a dog always leads to unexpected adventures. And Pepper definitely approves of this one. Subscribe for more travel adventures with Pepper across Europe.
