Violators will now face stringent legal consequences under Section 345 of the Bihar Municipal Act, 2007. Special emphasis has been placed on the immediate removal of meat and fish vendors located in the vicinity of temples, mosques, and schools. To address this, local authorities have been tasked with prioritizing these sensitive zones during their inspection drives to ensure social harmony and a respectful environment.
