Imagine a time, when DNA genetic engineering has emerged from the science lab into an every day growth industry. When an evil genetic-engineer, Dr. Piranoid illegally experiments with an untested DNA genetic formula, four brothers are accidentally transformed into monstrous half shark – half humans! Delighted with his success, the diabolical madman seeks to alter nature and tailor all humanity into sea creatures of his own design and control! So hold onto your fins as the heroic Street Sharks kick some serious fin as well as satisfying their voracious appetites. The Street Sharks stumble across mysterious Seaviate creatures who live in a vast cavern under the city. Dr. Piranoid has nothing to do with their creation -- and even more exciting is the possibility that Dr. Bolton, the kids' missing father, is in direct contact with these creatures, helping them overcome some of their own genetic weaknesses. When the Sharkbot kidnaps one of these creatures and Slobster takes the captive back to Piranoid's secret lab for ""testing"", the Sharks do their best to stop him -- but it takes a direct intercession by their father to save the day. Showing up in Dr. Piranoid's lab, Dr. Bolton (who, himself, had been transformed into a hideous genetically altered creature in the miniseries) takes on Dr. Piranoid, one on one, and whips the daylights out of him! The creature is saved... But when the Street Sharks go back to the cavern the creature comes from to pursue the acquaintance and possibly encounter their father, they discover that all traces of the creatures have vanished. On the other hand, they do find the battered helmet from Dr. Piranoid's biosuit, a memento left for them by their father -- who, in an accompanying note, sends them his love and tells them he'll be seeing them soon!
