#vanlife #adayinalife #vlog While staying at a friend’s off-grid property deep in the Olympic Forest, my van’s battery died. Luckily my friend was able to give me a jumpstart. And then I drove to the nearest town to buy a new battery. I’ve replaced the battery once before so it wasn’t too much of a shock when the auto parts store gave me a bill of $260! That’s actually a better price than the last battery I bought at NAPA five years ago. I checked that the alternator was working properly with my volt meter. And then I set off back to the forest. I found a place to camp for the night at the High Steel Bridge near Hoodsport and Skokomish in the Olympic National Forest. The area was even more beautiful than my last visit because of the rain, fog and clouds surrounding the bridge. What a truly beautiful place.
