It is very hard to watch this video. The seal is a great patient and allows the rescue team to look for, and eventually pull out, a loop of overgrown fishing line. The rescuers turn into field surgeons as they dig deeper and deeper into he wound, hoping to find a way to extract the line. They know it is necessary, and the seal makes it easy for them. Rescues like this stay with the team for a long time and motivate all team members to become even better rescuers. No animal should ever be allowed to suffer like this.
