La cantine du Voyage, on the western tip of the île de Nantes in the old port district, is a very special meeting place. It is a living showcase of the agricultural products from the region of Nantes. Constructed of removable greenhouses, it offers space for 300 guests. The changing two or three course meals, prepared from fresh products, are served on large wooden tables of Wudthing. Normally it is hard to find a place, however, since a large part of the population is at the Rendez-Vous de l'Erdre Jazz Festival, we have nearly the whole restaurant to ourselves. Some of the participants of the TBU meet one last time to intensify the contacts and exchange experiences. At the quay in front of the restaurants you can admire the installation "Les Anneaux" by Daniel Buren and Patrick Bouchain. In the evening it is illuminated in different colors and provides beautiful views from different angles. Es ist ein lebendiges Schaufenster der landwirtschaftlichen Produkte der Region. Aus abnehmbaren Gewächshäusern konstruiert, bietet sie Platz für 300 Gäste. Die wechselnden zwei oder dreigängigen Menüs werden ausschließlich aus frischen Produkten hergestellt. Gegessen wird an großen Holztischen von Wudthing. Normalerweise tummeln sich im alten Hafenviertel Hunderte von Gästen. Da sich aber ein Großteil der Bevölkerung beim Rendez-Vous de l’Erdre Jazz Festival befindet, stehen uns die Räumlichkeiten fast alleine zur Verfügung. Einige der Teilnehmer der TBU treffen sich ein letztes Mal um die Kontakte zu intensivieren. Am Kai vor den Restaurants ist die Installation „Les Anneaux“ von Daniel Buren & Patrick Bouchain zu bewundern. Bei Dunkelheit ist sie in verschiedenen Farbtönen illuminiert und liefert aus verschiedenen Perspektiven wunderschöne Ansichten. .........
