For this track, I took inspiration (and lyrics) from the vocal version on the official FFV Dear Friends album, released in 1993. That particular rendition had a few verses in Sámi, which the lovely ‪@Psamathes‬ sang. My son, who was really into the original track for a while, also sang along with me in the latter half. I really like the way our three voices work together, especially during the outro. I also had help from ‪@ERichards‬ and ‪@WarpWhistlesMusic‬ on acoustic guitar and clarinet, respectively. Everyone’s contributions really made this song come alive. It was a lot of fun to weave all the different elements and melodies together for this arrangement.
