Gurudongmar Lake is one of the highest lakes in the world and in India, located at an altitude of 5430 meters above sea level. It was our second day in North Sikkim and this was the day we waited for since we reached Sikkim. Gurudongmar Lake was on our list for a very long. As we were riding towards the mountains along the Tibetan borders, the roads, the climate and even the oxygen level were not in our favour.
