This intersection is a major landmark, acting as the gateway to the Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) and the surrounding industrial parks. As we turn south, the road opens up into a long, flat stretch that is perfect for maintaining a steady pace. As we cruise toward Fairway Drive, you’ll see the landscape transition. To your right, you’ll catch glimpses of airport-related infrastructure and the vast open spaces that define the eastern edge of Punta Gorda.
