It is necessary to remind Ndi Nteje why the so-called 2026 NDU election has been rejected by the people. This rejection is not out of sentiment or bias, but because the entire process is clearly against the Nteje Constitution. The purported NDU electoral body has continued to peddle irregularities, contradictions, and falsehoods in total disregard of constitutional provisions. A clear example is their claim that Mr. Uchenna Alexander Nweke withdrew from the race on 23rd January 2026, whereas documentary evidence written and signed by the contestant himself confirms the withdrawal was on 25th January 2026. This is not a minor error; it is a constitutional breach and deliberate misrepresentation. Indeed, the God of Nteje is at work, exposing these actions. This is only one of many unconstitutional manipulations surrounding the election. Even more alarming, the suspended PG, who appointed the electoral body, was seen interfering and obstructing them from performing their lawful duties, further rendering the process invalid. Rather than follow the Nteje Constitution and trust the delegates as required, candidates were unconstitutionally disqualified to pave the way for a preferred candidate.
