Ágora Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, Valencia, España - ULMA Construction [es]

Diseñado por el arquitecto e ingeniero Santiago Calatrava y Ubicado en la Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias de Valencia, el edificio Ágora es un espacio diáfano y multifuncional, de planta elíptica apuntada. El elemento más característico del edificio es su cubierta móvil o “brise-soleil”, formada por 163 lamas metálicas, de 31 m de longitud en zona centro, y hasta los 15 m de las lamas extremas. ULMA ha sido el único proveedor de soluciones de andamio. El trabajo ha consistido en la cubrición del edificio con el sistema de andamio multidireccional BRIO para la rehabilitación de más 4.247 m². ULMA ha aplicado la metodología BIM en este proyecto. A través de modelos virtuales en 3D ha sido posible gestionar y tomar decisiones de diseño, planificación, ejecución y operaciones durante todo el ciclo de vida del proyecto, incluyendo su mantenimiento posterior a la construcción. Su resultado es mayor control y eficiencia. El proyecto de rehabilitación del edificio Ágora ha sido el resultado del buen entendimiento y la estrecha colaboración entre todos los agentes que han participado de forma coordinada sorteando con éxito las exigencias planteadas por la especial geometría del edificio y los plazos de ejecución acordados. The most unique element of the building is the mobile brise soleil formed by 163 metal slats measuring 31 m in height at the centre of the building, and 15 m and the lower ends. ULMA applied BIM technology to design the scaffolding for this project. Detailed 3D models informed management and enabled crucial decisions to be made effectively for the design, planning, execution, and use of the scaffolding structure throughout the project, as well as ensuring proper storage and care after project completion. The result is efficiency and streamlined precision.
