| Timelapse | How to install strobe lights | Install & Sync | Brookings STA-3 | Istalling strobe lights on a towtruck | In this video I wire the lights in groups on the grill and tailboard and sides of truck. On the grill, group one and two are kitty-corner from each other. Group one is also on the sides of the truck and group two is also on the tailboard. All lights were grouped previously in the beginning of the video when I show how to program grouping. This needs to be done prior to wiring together. Flash pattern can be set/changed afterwards. Once the lights are programed/group assigned, they can all be wired together in the same harness utilizing the same power. Make sure to connect all the lights together with the sync wire so that when power is applied momentarily to the sync wire it will change the flash pattern on all the lights so they will continue to all be on the same pattern. Group one and two could be seperated with their own sync wire for each group if you wanted to be able to have each group flashing a different pattern. Hope this helps clarify some things.
