The creator of the legendary Delro D60 Lipo boro mod, ' JG 3P0 ' pioneered the high end boro mod realm based on the Billet Box (using their consent.., Now, this iteration, the Delro d650.. is his first removable battery (18650) boro mod.. they were initially offered in black and white.. They came with a matte SS or aluminum C frame.. The rest of the mod being made of Delrin.. (hence Delro..).. more recently he has done a few clear Frosted PC and PEEK versions in limited quantity.. along with a very exclusive Monarchy collab version of both materials.. The authentic is only available in DiCodes. JG has long been in support of DiCodes chips. Although he does do mods using Evolv products, (dna60, dna75C..) he often leans toward DiCodes, as they offer advanced Temp Control, and are quite small, which helps in regarding to designing a more compact sized mod. ( I personally prefer Evolv boards though myself..) This is the SXK clone version, from 3fvape. It was $85 compared to the real Delro mods.., which are designed and made in the USA for $500-650.. depending on the materials used.. The authentic comes with a DiCodes Extreme V3 .. a 60 watt chipset, similar to a dna60... This clone, comes with a 'Dicodes like' chip, that is similar, but not a direct clone of the Dicodes. It's called the SDI60... also a 60w chip.. SXK also features this board/chip in the Apex boro mod clone, which also uses a Dicodes V3 in its authentic counterpart.. The authentics are a very highly sought out boro mod, with a limited number in existence. It is a relatively simple design, but offers a classy look, great hand feel, some unique features, careful wiring, and carries some nostalgic properties that remind us of the mod that started it all, the Billet Box.. I intend to do a full review some time in the near future, where I will get to compare the mod with then authentic Delro D-650 , to really get a hard look at both, going over the similarities and differences...
