On a quiet Christmas Eve, Frank’s night of eggnog and relaxation is interrupted by a mysterious delivery—a gift-wrapped box from an unsettling stranger. As curiosity gets the better of him, Frank discovers some gifts are better left unopened... Gift Wrapped is a suspenseful short film blending holiday cheer with chilling horror, perfect for fans of creepy Christmas tales and unsettling twists. Plus, it's kinda funny too! :) 🎥 Watch now to see what’s inside the box… if you dare! Behind-The-Scenes Info: Joel made this movie with his sons Max (who plays the weird delivery guy), Connor (who did camera), and Parker (who did sound), along with the help of his cousin Chris (who also plays the Christmas [evil] Spirit) and good friend, Michael Kahwaty (who plays main character Frank). It was shot in about a day (on December 1, 2024) with the final "surprise" shot at the end of the movie being shot separately the following weekend. The musical talents of Matt Cannon, who did the original score, and the post-color grading work done by another great friend, Mack Robins, helped to make our little movie even better. Tyson, producer and great pal extraordinaire, helped by making sure this thing got done in time so that we can maybe enter it into a festival or two. And last, but definitely not least, thanks goes out to David Graham who made the kick-ass GIFT WRAPPED poster art you see in the thumbnail.
