🚗 Day 1: Road Journey Begins | Gurugram to Katra Our sacred journey started from Gurugram, filled with excitement and devotion. We travelled through Panipat → Karnal → Kurukshetra → Ambala → Ludhiana → Jalandhar → Pathankot → Jammu → Katra. Covering nearly 710 km on one side and 15 hours of continuous road travel, the journey tested our patience and visibility due to dense fog on highways. Long drives, mountain roads, and changing landscapes made Day 1 challenging yet spiritually uplifting. By Maa’s blessings, we safely reached Katra, rested, and prepared ourselves mentally and spiritually for the divine trek the next morning. 🕉️ Day 2: The Sacred Yatra | Trek to Bhawan & Bhairon Baba Began with immense joy and devotion as we started the trek from Banganga, moving through Charan Paduka → Ardhkumari Gufa → Bhawan for Maa Vaishno Devi’s divine darshan. After darshan, we took a short break and enjoyed pizza at Domino’s (located at Bhawan). There are several food outlets available there as well, including Gulab Sweets, Sagar Ratna and more, making it convenient for all devotees. We then proceeded to Bhairon Baba Mandir, experiencing a beautiful ropeway journey along the way. At Bhairon Baba Mandir, the sight of langurs peacefully seated and the aerial view of Bhawan below felt absolutely divine — a moment that truly looked and felt like heaven. Descending back to Katra with powerful chants of “Jai Mata Di”, the entire atmosphere was filled with devotion, energy, and positivity. 🛍️ Day 3: Katra Darshan & Return Journey On Day 3, we explored the Katra market, soaking in the spiritual vibes, buying souvenirs and spending peaceful moments before beginning our return journey to Gurugram via the same route. 📝 Important Notes for Yatris Smart Lockers at Bhawan are extremely useful for hassle-free baggage management.
