Hit the trails on this 4.1-mile loop near Harpers Ferry, West Virginia! It's a bit of a challenge, but doable in about an hour and a half. This spot is perfect for hiking or running fun, and you probably won't bump into too many people while out there. If you're thinking about the best time to check it out, aim for February to November. And hey, your dog can come too; keep them on a leash! Your adventure starts at the visitor center. Then, you'll head towards the Murphy-Chambers Farm. You'll wander through the fields and catch a glimpse of some Civil War history, with cannons and earthworks on your path. After you make your way back to the parking lot, there's more to see. Take the stone steps down on the Lower Town Trail, where you'll be treated to cute little waterfalls, depending on the season. Plus, don't miss the incredible views of the Shenandoah River.
