Adelson has been in jail in Leon County since her 11/13/2023 arrest for her role in the murder for hire. Her trial was to begin on 9/17/2024, but her main lawyer Daniel Rashbaum suddenly withdrew as counsel the morning of jury selection. Judge Stephen Everett recently disqualified Adelson's other attorneys, Alex Morris and Adam Komisar. The next case management hearing in Donna Adelson's case will be 12/10/24 at 2:30 p.m.
