Exploring Juhu Beach and nearby places in Mumbai is a great way to spend a budget-friendly day. In my latest vlog, I take you through Juhu Beach, ISKCON Temple, Mukteshwar Mandir, Silver Beach, and more. Whether you are a local looking for a quick getaway or a traveler exploring Mumbai, this plan will help you enjoy the best of Juhu under 500 rupees. Juhu Beach is open 24 hours and is one of the most famous beaches in Mumbai. It offers a relaxing atmosphere, beautiful sunset views, and many street food options. You can enjoy snacks like pav bhaji, bhel puri, and kala khatta gola. Some recommended food stalls are Shiv Sagar for pav bhaji, Anand Stall for vada pav, and various beach stalls for bhel puri and gola. ISKCON Temple, also known as Sri Sri Radha Rasabihari Temple, is a peaceful place located in Juhu. The temple is open from 4:30 am to 1:00 pm and again from 4:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Entry is free, and you can also enjoy a meal at Govinda’s restaurant inside the temple. Their thali costs 250 rupees, and a glass of lassi is 50 rupees. Mukteshwar Temple, located on Juhu Tara Road near JW Marriott, is a quiet and beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is open from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm and does not have an entry fee. Silver Beach, located near Juhu Beach, is a less crowded spot. It is a great place for a peaceful walk and photography. The beach is open 24 hours, and entry is free. For more food options, Prithvi Café near Prithvi Theatre is a great place to have tea and parathas. Their cutting chai costs 30 rupees, and a cheese paratha is 120 rupees. Rameshwaram Café is a good choice for South Indian food, where you can get filter coffee for 30 rupees and dosa for 80 rupees. If you want to try seafood, Mahesh Lunch Home offers budget-friendly options like bombil fry for 250 rupees. The total budget for the day is under 500 rupees. Street food at Juhu Beach costs around 180 rupees, a prasad meal at ISKCON’s Govinda’s costs 250 rupees, and tea at Prithvi Café costs 30 rupees, making a total of 460 rupees. If you include transport, a round-trip second-class local train ticket costs 20 rupees, and shared auto rides to and from Juhu cost 40 rupees. This brings the total to 500 rupees. This vlog covers a mix of nature, spirituality, and local food, making it a perfect budget-friendly experience in Mumbai.
