Brizlincote lies between Stapenhill, Winshill and Bretby. This walk goes up to high ground but it's only a short climb. From the top, there are rolling hills and brilliant views across Burton and further afield. Brizlincote Hall is a prominent feature that can be seen from all around. It was built in 1707 and has Grade II* listing, which is a category of protection given to particularly important buildings of more than special interest (around 5.8% of listed buildings are Grade II*). You can park in Brizlincote Valley and walk up to this using the footpath from Grafton Road/Gloucester Way, or park on Brizlincote Lane (not so easy) and walk from the top of the hill instead. I didn't find the route at the top particularly easy to follow closer to the hall, so it might be good to take an OS map to avoid straying on private land.
