Suspending objects in resin part 2! This week, we are going to revisit suspending objects in resin. I also turned one of the test blanks I made with a slower setting epoxy and found that there was a witness line in it. However, after turning one that was made with faster setting Alumilite resin, it had no visible line. I believe it's just a matter of pouring the second layer as soon as possible once the resin has set up, and I waited overnight to pour the second coat of that slow setting resin blank. Testing is crucial in resin casting. Things don't always turn out perfect, and it's just a matter of trying different approaches and honing in on the best method of doing things.
