Sounds that zombies make from all the games mentioned above. Actually it's all just one, but different editions. Boy am I glad to be able to play Resident Evil 1.5 after all that happened, I saw the 2 hour documentary on its history. That was wild How did I get RE2's SFX? I Obtained it and referenced this link https://web.archive.org/web/202504120... to know where to look. Many thanks to "tobester" for this list I even archived it on the Wayback Machine so it's never lost At least I hope it never gets lost. And then I put .sap and .bgm files through PSound yet again haha it's here too. https://web.archive.org/web/202504120... This link was also very useful many many thanks to "wesker1988" for explaining everything I needed to know AMEN BROTHER I LOVE YOU (THIS GOES TO YOU TOO VIEWER) Woop 28/04/2025 (DD/MM/YYYY) update: I used Extractor from Nova Software to get some of these sounds too! From the .sap files How did I get BH 1.5's SFX? A little more complicated but I installed Virtual CloneDrive (https://www.elby.ch/en/products/vcd.html) and mounted the unmodified build's .bin file, I specify that because I had both the Feb 18 2025 patch from ModDB and the unmodified build on my PC. Couldn't play the unmodified build by itself but I managed to get it working by replacing the original .cue file with the one from the patch. Oh and then I scanned .RDT files from the STAGE* folders with PSound, I tried my darndest to disassemble 1.5 .RDT files, I managed to do it, but I couldn't disassemble the .VB files How did I get BH 1.5's female zombie model? I went to the second link mentioned above to see info about enemy models and installed BIOFAT v0009 through here https://web.archive.org/web/202504120..., mounted BH 1.5 with Virtual CloneDrive, got CDEMD0.EMS from the folder named EMD, opened BIOFAT and clicked on its Bio1.5 tab, hovered on EMS and clicked Disassemble [0], then selected CDEMD0.EMS. "em13.emd" was later opened with RE2MV a very cool model viewer How did I get RE2 Trial edition's SFX? By mounting its .bin file with Virtual CloneDrive once more, then scanning ENEM**.VB files from COMMON/SOUND using PSound. As for the screaming, I got that by opening the game with jPSXdec and going to PL0/VOICE and selecting the .XAS files, then saving them as .wav files This link wasn't that useful to this video, at least I don't think but this is a really good website for classic Resident Evil modding it's got lots of tools https://web.archive.org/web/202409052...
