My first wildlife documentary. In 2018, and with a passion for wildlife, a degree in Zoology and a love of photography and film-making I decided to photograph and film the deer of Richmond Park, my eventual aim to create my very first wildlife film documentary. I soon became addicted and went to the park almost every day for a year. I filmed in the dead of winter and at the height of summer. The park was magical . On cold March mornings, just before dawn, the deer, enveloped by frozen mist and gently falling snow, appeared majestic and mysterious. Completely alone in the park, it was not difficult to contemplate the power and beauty of the natural world. At this time I didn't have my own camera but borrowed a motley collection from family and friends. I recorded hundreds of shots and then, after a period of intense learning, care of YouTube and my talented brother, I created the film. I performed almost every task myself from researching, storyboarding and script-writing to shooting, sound recording, editing, adding the music and sound effects and overlaying my own narration. Many thanks to: Twickenham Studios, where I currently work as a runner and for colour grading the film. Wildeye where I attended an introductory course. Wildscreen, which I attended in 2016 and 2018. My ambition is to gain full time employment within the wildlife film industry, so please share it with anybody you may know. Thank-you for watching - Merci d'avoir regardé Camille Munday
