Primavera Cloud Get start

This video tutorial is to demonstrate basic and get-start information for PRIMAVERA Cloud Application. Recently most of the software are going to Web-based or Cloud application without need of the install the software on your local machine, similarly the Primavera is also becoming Cloud based since last few years. To get access we need a secured Internet connection with "User Name" and "Password" information for Cloud application. Once we take account for Primavera Cloud, the Oracle send a e-mail to create your own password, once we created it, we can use the same for future access to the application. Once we enter the Username and Password, Oracle open the "Welcome Screen", which give you some basic info for the account and access to basic introductory videos. From here we can go to OBJECT SELECTOR to select the Project, Program or Workspace. Workspace is something similar to ENTERPRISE Structure in Primavera stand-alone application. This video gives you some basic info how to create the WORKSPACE, and import the project from stand-alone to the Cloud application. Since this is introduction to the cloud, we will not create the project from scratch (this will be do in next videos), here our objective is to transfer from stand-alone to the Cloud application i.e. transferring our data from stand-alone to Cloud application. We can import P6 program into the cloud, once we Import the project into cloud, it required to SCHEDULE/RUN the Project to calculate the Early/Late dates and Gant chart, the same F9 function key can be use to SCHEDULE the project. You can show any column by clicking +sign in the Activity details area, similarly we can modify the gant chart area, time scale setting etc.
