Large equipment such as excavators are being used to try and combat the worsening conditions to keep roads accessible. However, exit and on ramps to i80 have not been touched by plows which is causing vehicles to get stuck trying to get on the interstate and having to back, back down the onramps and back to safety. Meanwhile, through town multiple vehicles are getting stuck in snow drifts even with AWD and intense snowfall rates are causing 0 visibility conditions.
