Experts remain split on Japan’s decision to manage wastewater from the crippled Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant by releasing it into the Pacific Ocean. While some said it is a common practice by nuclear plants globally and attributed the controversy to politics, others said a lot of uncertain factors remain and that alternatives have not been adequately considered.
