In efforts to increase the visibility of Asian American documentary filmmakers and storytellers, the Asian American Documentary Network (A-Doc) continues to create space, resources, and community to support more diverse stories that disrupt mainstream narratives. Join A-Doc for some exciting updates from their latest programmatic initiatives. Microdocs Showcase Hear about A-Doc’s latest storytelling initiative “Our Stories, Our Voices”, a series of six microdocs that centers voting and election stories in AAPI communities. The series leans into our strengths as documentarians of the diaspora, uplifting emerging voices, and sharing unique perspectives on issues facing the nation that have largely remained invisible.
