Ohio State Wrestling Head Coach Tom Ryan gained a new perspective on life after an automobile accident put him in the hospital for 12 days. Ryan underwent 22 hours of anesthesia and surgery to repair fractures in his femur, tibia, a shattered kneecap, and torn rotator cuff. Ryan also had stitches to heal a gash in his head. Under the care of Dr. Collins and Dr. Nash, Ryan’s left leg was salvaged after a skin graft using his right leg.
