Spend a full day with me as I train reining horses at every stage of development at my ranch in Scottsdale, Arizona. In this behind-the-scenes day in the life, I share my training methods, thoughts on the reining horse industry, and what it really takes to build a professional reining program. You’ll ride along with me from the moment I arrive at the ranch through a full day of work — starting with three-year-old futurity horses, where I focus on spins, stops, and circles, then stepping on derby horses (ages 4–7) and breaking down how the reining show horse industry works. Later in the day, I work with two-year-olds, explaining how my expectations change based on a horse’s age, mindset, and experience.
