This famous song, from the Movie "Never on Sunday" is beloved world wide, but those of Greek descent love it the most! I am thrilled to present our Cover rendition of "Ta Paidia Tou Peiraia", with a wonderful 3 guitar arrangement and accompaniment by guitarist William Beauvais. Filmed on location in Gytheio, Lakonia, Greece, (the best we could do without being right in Piraeus, which would be pretty much impossible these days ~ it has changed a lot since 1960!), there is a warm, authentic vibe to this video. You will notice the boat "BRIZO" which is owned by Pierros Thomakos and Sheri Hunt, of Mani E-Scapes, who so graciously allowed us to film on board their vessel. Brizo is an Ancient Greek Goddess who was known as the protector of mariners, sailors and fishermen ~ how fitting for this song!
