Guillows Pilatus PC-6 RC Conversion Step-by-Step The Guillows Pilatus PC-6 balsa model airplane is an ideal candidate for an RC conversion. Follow along with this step-by-step guide. The Guillows build follows the normal plan and illustrated construction guide. Guillows model airplane kits come complete with a range of accessories to include tissue covering, plastic wheels and acetate for the windshield. In addition, the stick and tissue kit offers high quality laser cut balsa parts. My version of the PC-6 came in at just over 3.1 ounces and the ParkZone motor offered more than enough power. I also used ParkLite iron on covering and this came out very well. As always, "build in lightness" as you construct your model. I used a larger spacing (2 inches) for the wing ribs, and added less than the required amount of 1/16" square balsa for the fuselage.
