I just installed front Sumo Springs and. Bilstein Steering Stabilizer on my 32 foot long 2018 Class C RV. I purchased the Sumo Springs from Amazon: This isn’t a step by step install vehicle, however, I wanted people to see what the Bilstein steering stabilizer looks like. There were a lot of vehicles showing the Safe -T-Plus and the Roadmaster steering stabilizers, but I saw nothing showing the Bilstein. The Bilstein was very easy to install since you use the Ford mounts which makes it a one-for-one swap. As you can see from the video... the Ford steering stabilizer was worn out and useless. I saw reduction in sway and porpoising from the Sumo Springs as well as improvement in stability and turns at high and low speeds... however... the addition of the Bilstein steering stabilizer took everything to the next level. I really think that if you own a Class C and you are having a difficult time with driving in high winds or with semi trucks passing you, you should make these two simple modifications. You will not believe the difference they make. During a brief drive on a two lane highway (one direction each way) a semi drove past me and I barely moved. In addition, it was a little windy, the types of winds that normally cause me some pause I barely noticed them. In addition, by steering wheel was so stable and firm feeling. It did not feel like I was driving a boat while trying to steer my RV, it felt like I was driving my 06 Honda Ridgeline!!!
