The homeowners who live here really needed some help with their overgrown yard. Both the mother and father are on a disability pension, unable to maintain their yard, and they just can't afford to pay anyone to clean it up! It was pretty obvious that they required help, and a yard like this is so difficult to transform, even for able-bodied people. He knew the job was going to be hard, but he knocked on their door and offered to do the job for free. They were super happy for him to get it done, as you would expect. He ended up spending around 20 hours at this property and taking away 4 or 5 large box trailers of green waste and rubbish. In this episode, there is everything from mowing, slashing (weed whacking), edging, pruning, rubbish removal, and sweating—a lot of sweating! It really is a CRAZY transformation.
